i developed 30+ food allergies this year. i was healthy until i started getting food allergies 3 years ago. what could be going on? could it be lupus?

Define: Define "food allergy" that you are experiencing. Allergies to food present as hives, swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, anaphylaxis, eczema, etc. Plus lupus is not related to food allergies.

Don't eat those food: Processed foods are generally not healthy, as they tend to contain a lot of calories, sodium, additives, and preservatives, with little nutritional value.  So I suggest avoiding those foods, especially since they also upset your GI tract. You can try an elimination diet to try to determine what you specifically do not tolerate, but that is difficult with processed foods with many ingredients.

Depends: If you have pots and have symptoms from food allergies that can worsen fatigue or change your fluid balance, the impact will be negative but mostly related to symptoms.  If you are asking if food allergies could cause pots, not likely.  I assume you mean igg food allergies, not emergent ige allergies.

Yes: Yes they can out grow allergies. However, you should be very careful about any allergy they have had a significant reaction too such as shortness of breat or anaphylaxis. Additionally peanut allergies tend not to be one that children grow out of.

Suspect / test: There are a variety of blood tests your physician can obtain on blood that can provide evidence for or against a food allergy. Allergists also employ skin tests which provide a different but helpful set of information.
