i have 2 lumps, one in my armpit area and the other just by my body right side, the pain goes and come but not really serious. what do i do?

Have it checked out: Enlarged lymph nodes, benign growths like sebaceous cyst, and malignant growths can present in the area of concern.  It is best to have your doctor look at them.  
F/u:  since your doctor felt it was lymph node, then next step is decide if it is large;/firm  to be concerned about cause.  Followup exam is one way; another is to obtain fine needle aspiration (stick needle into ln) biopsy.

i get chronic on and off lumps under armpit comes and goes sometime on the right sometimes on the left. should i be concerned n see my dr.?

Painful?: Are these lumps abscesses that hurt and drain, or something different?  Have you used a new deodorant?  You may have a skin disorder called Hidradenitis. Are they deep to the skin like lymph nodes.  It is best to see your regular doctor to determine if you need further testing or treatment.

if pain comes and goes in armpits for over a year and a half, with no other symptoms, no lumps, should i be worried? it's very minor discomfort (1of 10) and usually only happens on stretching arm up very high, i worry all the time about this, help?

: If the symptoms have not gotten worse in year and half and are mild to begin with, it does not seem to be a cause for concern.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

hi there, im having lumps on my groin area and my armpits which produces pus and swell up and causes pain after a few days if i irritate them. what do you think it could be? this has been going on from when i was 16. i am 21 now. thank you

Hidradenitis: What you describe is most suggestive of Hidradenitis suppurutiva which is a condition of recurrent skin infections usually from a bacteria called staph aureus.  Treatment often consists of aggressive daily hygeine with antibacterial scrubs and potentially a nasal or oral antibiotic as well to reduce recurrence rates.  A family doc, internist or dermatologist can diagnose and treat this condition.

You may have: recurrent sebaceous cysts, very common in the axillae! (armpits) These sometimes get infected. Check this out with your Primary Care Physician and perhaps determine once and for all what the "lumps" are and how they may be AVOIDED!

Lymph node vx. infxn: There are lymph nodes in the armpits which can be felt as little lumps - sometimes we can feel them even if there is nothing wrong. Also possible to get ingrown hair, infected follicle or boil in the armpit if red/tender. If small, moves when you touch it, and no pain, it's fine to watch & wait, but if red, sore/painful or increasing in size, get checked by a doctor.

Lymph nodes : The lumps under your armpit are most likely lymph nodes. They could be enlarged due to infection or other causes or you could just be feeling them naturally. Lymph nodes could be normal or worrisome. If they are new, seem bigger than normal, hurt when you touch them or any concern on your part then see a doctor for evaluation. Good luck!

Thoughts...: Most common causes of lumps in the armpit in someone otherwise healthy are little infected cysts or abscesses.  Armpit lymph nodes can also be enlarged because of systemic infection or malignancy (uncommon).
