i'm 16 years old female. i recently had a huge, painful, colorless lump under my armpit. it went away in a couple days. can it be something dangerous?

No: If the lump went away, it is not dangerous.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Possible staph: Many causes of painful inflammatory conditions of the intertriginous zones of the body (e.g. skin folds). One major cause is recurrent colonization with staph (bacteria) due in part to the local environment which is ideal for bacterial growth. If you are shaving your armpits, you may be introduction bacteria by using or re-using razors which cause trauma of the skin which can lead to "bumps".

No,: cancers tend to keep growing and do not get smaller and disappear.  More likely a benign reactive lymph node or cyst

Probably: an infected lymph node in the axilla, lymphadentis, you need to see your doctor for assessment, or a surgeon, you may very well need antibiotics, meanwhile, use some warm compresses, rest and pain killers till seen, all the best

Abscess: It is probably an abscess.  Sometimes these will settle by themselves, sometimes they need antibiotics, sometimes they need to be cut open to let pus out.  
If it is quite painful it's probably time to see a doctor

Painful lump axilla: Sounds like a lymph node.Did you recently get scratched by a cat? Or have an infection in arms?  Would get it checked out by a doctor this week. may be from  infection, or autoimmune process like Castlemans or from a mass. But please get it checked out this week with a doc

Skin: Your description lacks details and in dermatology really have visually see lesion. Probably not cancerous but see dr, who can diagnose. May be infected hair follicle oe sweat gland. Early abscess to consider.

This is probably...: Probably an enlarged lymph node (which would be present if there was a local infection such as an ingrown hair). Could also be a boil (which is collection of pus under the skin). In any case, you can apply a warm compress to it 3x daily and simply watch it. It should shrink and become nontender. Seek medical attention if it does not resolve or if you develop fevers.

Infected node ?: We all have lymph nodes in the armpits. These can get infected. Nodes that swell can mean various things so seeing a physican is useful..They will check for other lymph nodes and likely figure it out.
