ok so yesterday it was confirmed that i did lose my mucus plug. now im gettin lower right side back pain...what do i do?

PLEASE CALL YOUR OB : Now! if u are having a problem today that u did not have yesterday u need to be evaluated today, lower right sided pain could be many diff things, that does not have anything to do with losing your mucus plug so please call your OB now.

after open gallbladder surgery, i've had really bad lower right side back pain and spasms. i mostly slept sitting up after. can that be the cause?

Maybe: Would need more information. How long ago was the surgery? In the first few weeks after major open abdominal surgery, there sometimes can be some back muscle pains due to abnormal posture while sitting or standing. Try changing positions, stand up more straight, walk more, use local heat on the muscles. See your surgeon to be sure that you are healing properly.

SEE YOUR DOCTOR: Your medications indicate that you have very many complex medical conditions - hypertension, diabetes, probable rheumatoid arthritis, depression and severe coronary disease. Your pain needs to be evaluated by your physician in the context of all your other problems.  I understand you want relief, but it is ultimately more important to find a cause and treat it directly, and not mask the symptoms.

had lumbar laminectomy years ago. still having severe leg pain, and lower right side back pain. what could it be?

Nerve damage: If you have never had pain relief after your surgery, the nerves involved may have been too damaged to repair themselves. If you did have relief for awhile, you may be developing bone spurs around the laminectomy. You should follow up with your surgeon to recheck the area . He or she may refer you to a pain specialist.

The  two could be re: The two may be related. This is something to discuss  with your physician. The  liver is on the right  side where you are  having your  symptoms. This needs  to be evaluated.
