Yes.: This is certainly compatible with pregnancy.  If you are a week late a home pregnancy test kit will definitely be positive.

LLQ pain: Diarrhe? fever? Your age is not mentioned. concern about  diverticulitis for which antibiotics is needed.May also be UTI or ovarian cyst pathology or vaginitis   F/u/ w/ doc urgent care today.

Diverticulitis: Left lower quadrant crampy pain with tenderness is concerning for severe constipation or even possible diverticulitis. Age over 50 with these symptoms increases the concern for diverticulitis. Medical attention should be sought right away with symptoms as described.

ibs  symptoms lower left abdominal pain & frequent uti's 5 mths ago. gynea checkup = ovarian cysts which shrunk. colonoscopy and endoscopy = ibs diagnosis. still uti's recurrent, pain moving up left flank & shoulder, morning nausea. where 2 next, pls?

Wow!: IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion and has nothing to do with UTI which is a treatable condition involving a different system. Proper work up doesn’t sound like has happened here. You need to have your symptoms properly and investigated and appropriate treatment instituted before your symptoms are declared functional, which IBS necessarily is

Doctor can evaluate: Stomach aches plus diarrhea can be from a variety of causes. People usually see doctors if symptoms are bad or if they last more than 1-2 days. When diarrhea first starts happening, a person can benefit by stopping eating and start just drinking small amounts (2-3 ounces) of something like Pedialyte or half-strength Gatorade, hourly for a day. Fainting or extreme bloating means one needs a doctor.

Pelvic pain: Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Pelvic pain requires and examination to help organize the evaluation.  Left sided pain could signal a problem in the colon. A negative test and period indicates you are not pregnant.

Many possibilities: Many different problems can cause left lower abdominal pain, some minor (irritable bowel), some serious (diverticulitis, kidney stones, colon cancer).  In order to get to the bottom of this, a complete history must be taken, followed by a careful physical exam, lab tests, and other tests which may include x-rays and/or endoscopy.  Please make an appointment to see your primary care doctor.

More info?: Could be scar tissue.  But diverticulitis commonly causes left lower abdominal pain, sometimes exacerbated by a bowel movement.  You should see a doctor if it has lasted longer than a few days or if it is severe and limiting your daily activities.. There are other causes as well and you may require a ct scan or colonoscopy to help sort them out.

Could be: a small , possible ruptured, ovarian cyst!

Sounds like you need a GYN evaluation ASAP
