Could be referred : Low back pain with radiation down one side of the leg could be due to a pinched nerve. If you injured your back, strained muscles of the back and hip can irritate a nerve or cause a herniated disc which pinches the nerve. Fortunately this can be resolved non-operatively in most cases. Moist heat, light stretching and over the counter anti-inflammatory medications may help. Persists? See you doctor.

Disc compression: neuropathy: you must see an orthopedic expert and obtain an MRI of your lumbosacral spine, exam, evaluation,diagnosis and treatment. I would also suggest a physical therapy consultation after imaging is completed.

Radiculopathy: These symptoms might be a nerve root pinch (radiculopathy) which causes a radiation of pain along its path from the spine, across the buttock, and down the leg. A quick test at home is to walk on toes, then heels. If one side shows weakness, then that suggests a more severe pinch, as sensations are lost first, and motor second.
See your doctor for an exam, and X-Ray/CT/MRI?EMG as needed for eval.

: Leg weakness in both legs or just one?
If both legs are weak, the cause could be either neurologic or muscular problem. In this case, you may need to see a neurologist.
Back pain and leg weakness due to radiculopathy (herniated disc) is usually affecting one leg only and this is almost ruled out with negative MRI.

Back pain: Sounds like you may have displaced a lumbar disc and have a disc herniation with narrowing in your spine.  You will most likely benefit from a detailed evaluation and an MRI of your lower back.   Sounds like you have a condition commonly referred to as spinal stenosis-.

Lumbar disease: The type of pain you are describing may be indication of arthritic changes of your lumbar spine with irritation of your lumbar nerve roots. However, one also has to rule out possible vascular causes if you feel like your legs are weak and heavy. See your physician.
