Not necessarily: These are not necessarily related, except for if you have what is called type 1 rta; in that case, innate kidney disease causes both low potassium (due to wasting) as well as kidney stone formation (low urine acid, high calcium excretion).

Panic: not guilty: Anxiety/panic is a usual suspect in so many symptoms - this is rare. Low potassium may have been a factor in the stones. If you take laxatives, diuretics, asthma meds,  insulin, some antibiotics, vomit alot, etc - it can lower K. Eat lots of dark green leafy vegetables. The best source. It can raise your potassium, if you eat lots of them. Best!

Possible: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, A potassium of 3.3 is lower than desirable. You may address it by drinking orange juice and eating bananas. Leukocyte count of 13.7 suggests infection. Both of these matters are best discussed with your doctor who knows more about your health.

See a urologist!: If you are having symptoms from a kidney stone and it needs to be removed there are several options including extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, percutaneous lithotripsy, as well as surgical removal. Stones in the ureter that do not pass can be removed with  ureteroscopic stone removal techniques      using a scope via the bladder. You need consultation with a urologist.

No, ...: Potassium citrate is a urine alkalizer and urine citrate supplement for possibly helping dissolve uric acid stone - not other kinds of stone and help potentially decrease stone recurrence other than uric acid stone. For detail, ask your urologist.

Often: Most kidney stone are formed of calcium and oxalate.  Urocit k (potassium citrate) can reduce crystallization of these substances by adjusting the acid level of the urine and providing citrate. Citrate binds to urinary calcium so it can't bind to oxalate. If the stones are formed of other substances urocit k (potassium citrate) may not help. For most patients it may be beneficial.

Unexplained wt loss: If you are not trying to lose weight , this weight loss is a cause for concern, since the medications you mention should not cause a ten pound weight loss. Unexplained weight loss can be a sign of serious disease. Please see your doctor for an examination and appropriate tests.

For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.  Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless.
Practice safe sex.

Possible: The size and location of a stone determine the effects it has on the patient and on the kidney.  The amount of pain associated with the stone, possible associated infection, and duration of the stone episode all may contribute to causing a patient to feel washed out with poor energy levels.
