Q: if i don't eat every few hours i get shaky, weak, sweaty. better after eating. symptomatic of low blood sugar? normal to have multiple episodes a day?

: Cytomegalovirus persists in the body like herpes viruses, but it is an unlikely explanation for your symptoms. It would be prudent to see a doctor and get your blood pressure under control and get evaluated for your general health.

Needs evaluation: I assume you do not have diabetes or are on a diabetic medication.  The first thing to do is to check your sugar when you think it may be low.  Most people who think they have low sugar because of various symptoms, do not actually have a low sugar causing those symptoms.  Occasionally one can have reactive hypoglycemia, where eating something sweet can cause a low sugar a few hours later.

You bet...: Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) can certainly cause a general weakness feeling, unsteady, near fainting, etc.
In obese individuals, this might be a pre-diabetes symptom.  In a slender person, this might infer that they do not have adequate stored carbohydrates to respond to drops in blood sugar.
Regardless, hypoglycemia should be evaluated by your physician so that specific counsel can be given.

Uncertain: Are you taking meds for diabetes as some will lower blood glucose?  Otherwise, blood glucose following meal less than <60 on a consistent basis may suggest hyperinsulinemia which would require further testing.  Have an endocrinologist be involved in making this diagnosis if this is a potential cause.
