Yes: It has been reported as one of the symptoms. Covid19 would not be of concern unless this were accompanied by other symptoms, such as fever, sore throat, or dry cough.

Depends: I would not worry until you get checked out by a doctor. The symptom could be due to a virus. You did have a cold. Colds are  viruses and it takes about 2 weeks to get over them completely.

Sleep Clinic: It is time to realize that pills are not going to solve this problem for you.  You must get some help learning how to sleep again.  If you have not been to the sleep clinic that would be the next best step for you.

EVAL: Please contact your PCM. This could be from a variety of causes but COVID 19 is on the differential.Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms:  fever of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.

i returned from uk 17 march. have been self isolating since. have had mild flu like symptoms and been tired. for last 2 days have completely lost sense of smell. no temperature or cough. how long should i continue to self isolate?

Test: If you have access to a test get tested, stay in self isolation. Do you have a support system? The europeans say that anosmia is key in this disesase. If you have mild disease the guideline is stay home boost immunity and take paracetamol/panado.

Nasal allergies: When your nasal passages are congested, you lose your senses of smell and taste. You need a prescription nasal spray ( not otc decongestant spray!) to improve your symptoms. See your doctor or a board certified allergist for best help with your nose problems.
