i have a red mark on my cheek, it is not raised, it's smooth.  it doesn't hurt but occasionally itches but not bad.  it's been there over a year and hasn't changed in size. looks kind of like a burn but it's not blistered?

Red mark: We would need to see it to be sure. It should be seen. I recommend a dermatologist see it.

Parotid bruise: One can see a pigment change coming from the parotid gland. That is a saliva gland under your cheek. It should be very carefully checked by your ENT doctor. The color can also be a skin growth and should be checked.

Check 4  shingles: It doesn't sound exactly like it but the most concerning thing that it could be is herpes zoster (shingles) if it is close to the eye like that it can be serious so you should get this looked at by a doctor today.

See a doctor: Without being able to see these and obtain further history and perform exam it is impossible to diagnose, but if any risk of std you should absolutely get this looked at quickly.

Must be seen: This could be herpes or a staph infection. Add that to dysuria (which in a male represents Gonorrhea or Chlamydia) it is a definite indication that this man needs a doctor visit today.

Get that looked at: You need to see a doctor. If you have been sexually active, and that includes blow jobs, then this is undoubtedly an STD, or even more than one. If you have never had sex, then these symptoms are very unusual but most likely still represent some sort of infection. This is an appropriate problem to take to the ER if you can't get into a doctor or public health clinic right away

: The body has a tremendous ability to self heal. I would expect a bit of color change/irritation for a while but by a few days or week+  it will self heal.
