Tingling liver: A lipoma is benign and is under the skin and has no contact with the liver. You cannot possibly feel tingling from your liver. Your symptoms need to be reviewed by a physician to determine what is going on.

Neuropathy: This could be compression neuropathy of a cutaneous nerve and this could be anything else too  you should see a doctor if  persisting and getting worse.

The liver itself: Does not have sensory nerve endings.  The outer tissue or capsule can react to sudden changes it size, ie stretching.  Need a complete history and exam to try to sort out your "tingling.".

Limit tylenol (acetaminophen) use: First things first. Limit your use of Tylenol (acetaminophen) to less than 1000 mg per day. Benadryl can cause lots of side effects including anxiety (anticholinergic side effects). Flexeril use should be limited to a few days (can cause depression, addiction, sleep disruption and rebound anxiety. Lexapro can cause anxiety as well.  Tingling in the area of the liver can be from gall bladder, shingles, etc.

i had a bland embolization of the liver last week, i'm doing fine but i just started feeling some tingling on my foot, is it normal?

Call your doctor.: Bland Embolization is performed using a catheter, usually in the groin, and if any new symptoms occur shortly after having the procedure done in that leg, it is important to be evaluated by the doctor who did the procedure, to be sure that everything is all right. I would call them today. Good luck.

i have had red tingling palms for over a year.   no other symptoms of liver disease and have  stopped drinking alcohol (for over a year).  do the red palms mean i have liver disease .   i have  even a regular user of alcohol for several years?

Peripheral nerves: Chronic alcohol use will causes changes to different regions of the body.  The liver is the more serious, but the peripheral nerves can be involved as well as the small blood vessels in the hands, feet, nose and ears.  Peripheral neuropathy can cause tingling and pain in the hands and feet.  This may improve off alcohol, but may need medication.  Red flaring of hands, nose, ears is permanent.

Alcohol: Alcohol alters nerve conduction by occupying the GABA receptor in the brain. Tingling can sometimes occur. If it is on both sides, that is the likely cause. If you want to avoid it in the future, avoid alcohol. If you develop weakness of arm or leg on one side, slurred speech, or other concerning symptoms, go to the ER. Hope this helps!

Thoracic radiculopat: If it is of 1 or 2 days duration then shingles may show up in a few days. However if it is of weeks or months duration, then thoracic nerve or nerves may be pinched in thoracic spine. It is same for men and women.
