i have what looks to be a skin tag on my scalp. although, the skin tag is not flesh colored. its red and almost looks like a blood blister. it started off very small and has become more prominent. what could it be?

: Skin tags can be red. They are benign but if they are enlarging or bleed it's best to see a dermatologist or surgeon for removal.

Angioma.: Most likely an angioma, which is basically a harmless mole made of blood vessels. There are other possibilities. If you're worried, let a dermatologist look at it and tell you for sure.

Skin lesion: Any lesion on the skin that has increased in size or changed in appearance should be evaluated by your doctor.  If it has changed it should be removed.

Blood blister: It could be a blood blister - these can take a few weeks to reabsorb.  Other dark red skin lesions include hemangiomas, which are basically abnormal collections of blood vessels.

Hemangiomas: All those little red bumps or "blisters" on your body are called hemangiomas.  These are hereditary growths.  If you were to cut them out and look at them under a microscope, you would see thousands of little blood vessels.  Hemangiomas are completely benign growths that never turn bad.  I treat them with different lasers and they respond beautifully.

Likely local trauma: It is most likely local trauma from the teeth but should be examined by a doctor to ensure nothing else is going on. There are viral illnesses and other local infections/masses that can present this way and a good exam will hopefully exclude anything serious.

See your doctor: That does not sound like a typical part of pityriasis. It could be a totally new rash or possibly related to the cream you are using. I would see your doctor so they can see your new rash.

i have two small dark red blood blisters on my right inner cheeks. i never had them before and i don't remember biting my cheek either. they are not painful at all. help.

See a dentist: If the blood blisters resolve in a 2 week period. Most likely you will be fine.  If they persist, then have your dentist look at them.   You probably got them from biting or from eating sharp/hard foods.
