Maybe: In a woman with regular periods, some causes of a late period include:  excessive weight loss or gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (like birth control pills), hormonal imbalances, etc…  Home pregnancy tests are very accurate by 3 weeks after sex or 1 week after missing a period. Seeing a Dr. is a good idea if symptoms are persistent or recurring.

my partner and i had unprotected sex 10 days ago but i took a plan b, we had protected sex two days after that, and had protected sex today. i noticed light pink bleeding when i wiped after i pee. is that a sign of implantation or just irritation?

: Cannot tell the difference. Conception occurs within day or so of the sex. It takes about 3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG for a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test

Possible: The fax that you had spotting is not a good or bad sign. But given the date of ovulation you could be pregnant. If you do not get your period soon i would recommend checking a pregnancy test or seeing your doctor.

See your doc: Most spotting in pregnancy is benign, but should be evaluated by your ob. You don't need to run to the er unless its heavy bleeding or if you have a lot of pain. Cervical bleeding after intercourse, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, implantation bleeding, or subchorionic hemorrage are all possible sources of bleeding, but usually everything is ok.  If your blood type is negative, you may need rhogam.
