Libido Max: Libido max is a propietary product containing multiple herbs such as yohimbe, maca, epimedium, tribulus, and ashwagandha.  There are no studies documenting  effectiveness of the product itself, although some of the herbs are purported to have aphrodisiac properties.  Arginine in the product may increase penile blood flow.  The label warns of blood pressure elevation and heart disease.

Yes: Libido max is an Amino Acid supplement.  Amino acids are the building blocks for proteins.   Shouldn't be a problem to take.

Who knows?: Maximizing sex pleasure has led many to take libido enhancing pill so to heighten that fantasy in a easy way out. Work? Probably not really. Those pills usually contain some herbs suggesting, not really proven, to have some male or female hormonal effect so the "pill" makers claim with no fda regulation. If any, such effect may not high enough to affect what bc pill will do. More? Ask doc timely.

See a psychiatrist: You first need to see a psychiatrist to rule out causes increased libido. The primary cause of course is bipolar disorder. If you have bipolar disorder that should first be treated. If on the other hand you are just a person with a high libido and it is causing difficulty, then treatment with Paxil (paroxetine) is often used to lower libido . Your psychiatrist could advise you regarding other options as well. Best wishes.

Consult a sex therapist if these prompts don't help.
