Depends: Really hard to answer without knowing more details. Assuming the tbi was some time ago, and visual changes are new, you should see an ophthalmologist right away.

my left arm is still paralysed from my previous brain injury, when will it come back to normal?

It depends: There is a good chance that function will return over the next 6-12 months with a lot of physical therapy. However, you want to make certain that there is no spinal cord injury. If the injury is isolated to the brain (ie. No spinal cord injury), a ct or MRI maybe done to demonstrate the degree of brain injury and where it is present. This may help one to determine the the chance of recovery.

my head is hurting.  i've recently been recovering from a traumatic brain injury over a year ago. what is the problem.? back left side of head hurts.

Postconcussive HA: Your headache may be what is referred to as part of a postconcussive syndrome. Or post dramatic headache. The good news is these headaches are generally self-limited which means they tend to go away on their own. The bad news, it can take time. A good neurologist or headache specialist is well-versed in treating these types of headaches. Seek one out and they should be able to help you.

can a brain injury on the left side cause pupil changes in the right eye?

Yes, but....: If you are having these issues, you should be in an icu.  This is serious.  Pupil changes from head injuries are likely a precursor to a fatal event.  If this is chronic, i rec a full neurological exam, then an eye exam by an md.

Hard to say: It is hard to say. From your question, it sounds as though you had injury demonstrated either by ct scan or MRI scan. One may have no problems at all, it depends on the size of the injury and the exact location in these regions. If you are asking what these areas typically do: r frontal:  smell, memory, impulse control, left sided movement.  L parietal: speech, language, right sided movement.

i had a brain injury in oct of 2012 from an mva. i have partial paralysis on my left side. are there any beneficial exercises to help get function bac?

Brain injury: The old adage "use it or lose it" is never more true than in brain injury. Think of your brain as a muscle.  The more that a person uses their brain, the more adaptable and powerful it becomes.  The brain is more rested in the morning so that is the best time to do exercises. Work with an occupational and/or physical therapist to develop exercises specific for your deficit.  Practice daily.

Xrays of your neck: Your case sounds scary. Traumatic brain injury once treated and stable should not be the cause of your separate symptom; left neck/head pain and left arm weakness. Remember, left side of your brain, controls right side of your body. You might have injury to left spine/neck, perhaps from the trauma that injured your brain, causing left arm weak. Get appointment with your doc, neck x-rays, ct head.

Left Hand Slowness: This could be due to your brain injury or due to this being your non-dominate hand.  I suggest you see you Physician for an evaluation due to your injury history.

how hard do you have to hit your head to have a serious brain injury? i leaned backwards and hit the left back part of my head on something. i didnt black out, feel dizzy, feel nauseous or anything, and my vision didnt change at all after.thoughts?
