See a dooctor: if you are not pregnant or lactating it is not normal to have a nipple discharge you need to see your doctor for a full evaluation, testing and possible referral.

Not likely : Take a home pregnancy test in minutes you'll have your answer. Implanon failures are very rare. It can be normal to produce some milk once you've had a child. She could also have an elevated prolactin level it's can lead to milk production. A simple prolactin blood test can be done in the doctors office

Probably not: If you are using your birth control correctly, pregnancy risk is low. Actually, some hormonal birth control may give nipple discharge. It's not all that uncommon, especially if able to express from both breasts. Concerning nipple discharge is bloody, profuse or with any breast skin changes. Always do a thorough breast exam on yourself. If concerned about pregnancy though, take a home preg test.

See your MD: Inappropriate breast milk excretion may be caused by inappropriate secretion of the hormone prolactin from t the pituitary below the brain. If confirmed by testing the MD can give you a Rx that can resolve this issue.

For a while ...: Hormonal contraception may have a temporary effect on you breast. These improve or resolve after 3 cycles. Consult your  physician if these persists.

Breast pads: Some women will have leaking from the breasts in between feedings, or if they are separated from their baby. Sometimes milk can leak from the breasts when a women hears a baby cry!  wear a good nursing bra and nurse the baby frequently. Buy disposable absorbent breast pads to wear in your bra to absorb any milk that leaks. Change them frequently to avoid irritation of your nipples.

Possible causes for galactorrhea include but are not limited to use of birth control pills, tricyclic antidepressants, antipsychotic meds, some sedatives, fennel, anise, fenugreek, some hypertension meds, cocaine, opioids, hypothyroidism, prolactinoma, renal dz, testosterone deficiency in men ; significant breast stimulation.
