Stay away from enema: Sounds like someone want to flush out the colon using water. This,is,also,called an enema. I do not believe this is helpful and frown on my patients using coffee or lemon water cleanses, due to,the dangers of injury to bowel,tissue.  If your bowel function is not producing BMs every day or every other day, see your doc to get on a diet or activity regimen to,fix,this. Resist the cleanses.

No surgical intervention is required for your long colon  unless the doctor saw bnormalities or pathology during your colonoscopy. You can manage your constipation by eating high fiber, fruits, drinking plenty of water daily, avoiding meat, occasionally using an otc  or prescribed  laxative.

Malignant : Malignant neoplasm of the colon is a medical term for colon cancer.  There is no one single known cause of colon cancer, but certain things may put you at risk such as: 
-age (over 60) 
-family history of colon cancer 
-history of other cancers (breast especially)  
-specific genetic syndromes like familial adenomatous polyposis (fap) or lynch syndrome
-history of inflammatory bowel disease
-colon polyps
-drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, or eating red meat and highly processed foods

colon cancer may be treated with surgery, radiation, chemotherapy or any combination of the three.  Treatment depends on molecular testing of the tumor to determine what type you have and how aggressive it is along with what stage it is.
