Needs Ob/Gyn: Periods are controlled by a normal 28 day rhythm that is a function of the lower brain. Commonest cause is related to poor diet since that affects the cycle but a pelvic examination is a good idea.

POSSIBLE: It maybe due to the UTI and stress. You did not mention what sort of protection that you use. Take over the counter pregnancy check if you are still concerned.

Progesterone: From the information given, you stopped the depo shot. Progesterone takes up to 12 months to clear. As you recall, abnormal bleeding, bleeding every day or no bleeding at all or anything in between is entirely normal for progesterone only contraception. As the progesterone clears your system, your bleeding pattern will improve, however, until it clears abnormal bleeding will still occur.

Not a sign of preg: A late period is not a confirmed sign of pregnancy just as a missed period is.

Pregnancy test is the only confirming sign of pregnancy in the early stages.

Pregnant? : Check a pregnancy test. If not treat the constipation which is very common in the late teens. Try miralax (polyethylene glycol) or natural calm but be diligent with it not hit or miss!

The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  if you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.
