No: The timing of ovulation will not affect the potential for a miscarriage. The vast majority of miscarriages are due to abnormal pregnancies and there are no specific treatments or preventative measures available. The exception is the patient with an incompetent cervix, then the best chance for a successful pregnancy requires early surveillance of the status of the cervix with cerclage as indicated.

No: Miscarriage risks are most commonly associated with genetic issues.

Yes, you may not: If you are not ovulating, it may be a long time before you bleed. If you are not wanting to get pregnant now, BCPs would be the easiest way to control your cycles. If you are wanting pregnancy, you may need to be tested for PCOS or some other hormone imbalance.

If you like: You could do a pregnancy test now, or you could wait another couple of weeks to see if you have truly skipped your period.  Many recommend you wait 2-3 cycles after a d & c to allow the uterus to complete healing, before subjecting it again to pregnancy.

AFTER 14 DAYS: Ovulation is expected in 12-17 days after onset of menses. If its happening then its called late ovulation.

Yes: You can have spotting at anytime in the cycle. Spotting around ovulation is common, but keep in mind it may not be related to the ovulation. Good luck.

on 6/23 i was 5w5d by crl with an edd of 2/17. lmp was 4/27, the edd should have been 2/1 by lmp. but16d dif is this bc of irreg pp and late ovulation?

It could be: if you have not had a recent ultrasound it may pin point your dates better if pour periods were irregular  Good luck!!
