Depends.: If you have a family history of ovarian cancer then you should consider having your ovaries removed.  If you have menopause symptoms, recurrent cysts or other problems related to your ovaries then you may consider removing your ovaries.  This would cause menopause and likely cause some symptoms.  Need to have a detailed discussion with your doctor to help you decide what is best.

Maybe a suture but: Belly-button (umbilical) pain may originate locally due to infection or herniation, or be "referred" from another abdominal location like the appendix. Signs/symptoms of concern include: local redness &amp;drainage, umbilical bulging that can't be reduced with gentle pressure, fever, vomiting, change in bowels, generalized abdominal tenderness (suggests peritonitis), worsening pain. Get checked pls.

i had a laparoscopic tubal ligation done.and have some vaginal bleeding.  is it ok to use tampons?  even the same day as surgery?

Check with your dr: It is not unusual to have bleeding after a tubal or any laparoscopic gynecology surgery.  It is not recommended to use a tampon 2nd risk of infection. You are better off using pads.  If bleeding becomes heavy greater than 1 maxi pad an hour, or associated with pain, fever, shortness of breath, light headedness.....then call doctor or go to ER  ASAP

i'm a 42 yr old female, that desire to become pregnant. i had a laparoscopic tubal ligation with fulguration of the tube 1.5 cm (bilateral) in aug 1999, is it possible to get a tubal reversal?

It will cost you mon: Anything is possible if you believe!   However, you need to check your finances  because a tubal reversal is not covered under most insurance companies.  $6000 is the lowest that I have heard.  There is a doctor in North Carolina who charges a flat rate.

I think not: If there is no pain or fever you might wait till Monday morning, but call the surgeon or your provider first thing. If worse, go to an ER. Infections are nothing to be shy about and this sounds like a possibility. Take care and get attention for it soon. Very soon.

Tubal Test?: I believe  you are referring a test to see if your fallopian tubes are patent ( chromopertubation). If done during the laparoscopy you will be under anesthesia and you wont feel it. Obviously you will have some pain from the surgery.
Are you trying to get pregnant? Dont see the need for it unless you have problems conceiving.

i am 27 and have had 4 kids. 20 months ago i had a tubal ligation. since i've had cysts after cyst, bleed for 30+ days, weird discharge..whats wrong?

Hormones: You would benefit from going back on the pill. The pill decreases ovarian cysts by 50%.  Best wishes.
