: Urethritis is most often caused by sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes simplex virus, and trichomonas. Urethritis can be passed through vaginal, oral, and anal sexual contact. It would be prudent to see a doctor, as a person may have more than one infection.

Reflex: The cremasteric reflex causes the testicle to retract when the inner thigh on the same side is stroked. Perfectly normal.

Neurologic exam now: With that constellation of neurologic complaints, a thorough physical examination and neurologic exam is indicated to make sure there is not a mass compressing the neural elements to the perineum and sensory nerves to the lower extremity and foot. Call your primary care or Gyn physician for an evaluation ASAP.

: Little or no risk. Once HSV has been present for 2-3 months, the immune system prevents new infections with the same HSV type anywhere on the body. You will not auto inoculate your infection to a new body site. (You also are immune to new HSV1 infection from someone else.) Don't press your luck; try to avoid contacting your eyes when having a genital outbreak. But little risk if you forget.

3 months rt side sciatica, past week has spread to lft side, feet going numb, and random feelings of almost stumulation of genital area! what's happening?

Several things : Possibly going on including the possibility of a disc herniation compressing a large part of the nerves in the back that could be causing what is called a cauda equina syndrome which should be evaluated immediately &requires emergent surgery. Other possibilities could be in  the diagnosis but you should go to your doctor or er immediately especially if noting any bladder or bowel issues.

i had an mri 10 days after noticing leaking of urine  and strange feelings in the rectum that showed a mild central disc extrusion at l5-s1 without spinal cord compression. i have incontinence and numbness in the groin/genital area. what  is this?

Follow up. : You certainly want to follow up immediately with those symptoms.  By what you are saying about your MRI lumbar, it does not sound like it is coming from there.  So further testing needs to be done immediately to determine the cause and guide appropriate treatment.

: Yes, if the lesion is due to HSV-1.
Genital lesion is usually caused by HSV-2 though.

Folliculitis: Staphylococcal folliculitis. Your doctor may prescribe an antibiotic that you apply to your skin (topical), that you take by mouth (oral), or both. Your doctor may also recommend that you avoid shaving the affected area until the infection heals. If you must shave, use either an electric razor or clean razor blade every time.
