Be see : It sounds like possibly a sciatica, which is an irritation of a nerve in the back causing symptoms down the leg.  Many cases can be treated conservatively, but when the leg starts going. Numb , you should be seen, just to make sure it is not going to cause you long term harm.  Thanks.

Likely, Both: Could most likely be both.  The spine can pinch nerves that would then cause the muscles to hurt or spasm resulting in your pain.  If not resolved with conservative care and rest, see your doctor for further evaluation.

Not sure which: dimples you refer to, but anyone skinny, whether male of female will have a noticable sulcus (or you may call it dimple) at the region of their sacroiliac joint -- the sacral sulcus -- as the posterior iliac crest protrudes more posterior than the sacrum, which results in the sulcus, but it is present in everyone -- you only visually notice it if the individual is skinny/slim.

Back: A lot of thing can potentially cause these symptms. More common are disc prolapse or spinal stenosis.

Schmorl's: nodules, related to back injury. You must be seen and evaluated by your PCP or orthopedic surgeon and you will need an MRI to diagnose these areas.

Back pain: It all depends on what has been going on the days prior to the onset of pain. Did you fall? Lifted something heavy?  Sometimes injuries on muscle may present with a bulge. I recommend that if symptoms last more than a few days you get checked by your pcp.
