Internal derangement: Normal knees don't swell. You have probably torn a cartilage in your knee, called the meniscus. You need an MRI to evaluate. Don't ignore, as chronic tears can lead to arthritis.

Knee effusion: The most likely cause of intermittent joint swelling is arthritis. Your regular cycling of this is puzzling. Check for any joint locking, change of activity, or other joint involvement with your orthopedic surgeon.

Acl tears bleed: Anterior cruciate ligaments tears generally  cause a significant  hemarthrosis( blood in joint) when acutely torn.This is from the tear itself and associated  injuries.. Because the ligament is intraarticular it has poor helping potential when the blood supply is disrupted, unlike the medial collateral ligament ( mcl ). Partial ( one bundle) tears have poor healing potential for same reason

The reason could be;
1- some thing wrong with the structure of the knee, meniscus ligaments, plica and others.
2_you also could inflammatory process going on.
Go to the doctor and check it out.

had two scopes with no relief.  just gets worse as day goes on knee swells up.  one md wants to do replacement and other prp.  want relief before 9/19?

See a rheumatologist: Have a rheumatologist evaluate the problem. Obviously surgery has not helped. Get an opinion from a non surgical perspective.
