Stones: 3 mm or less have greater than 75% chance of passage, above 5 mm drops below 50%....Penis isn't the problem usually, problem is getting to bladder from kidney...Pain from blocked kidney.

Stone moving: If given an rx to enlarge ureters/urethra--be sure you are taking it. Use your pain med, hydrate well to encourage passage. If made it to bladder, should pass on own (and will only appear as grain of sand, despite amount of pain it caused on way out). May have some urinary bleeding, ok as long as stops after few hrs. If severe pain / vomiting / can't pee -- go to er.

Possibly: Or passing thru tour penis. It also could be a small blood clot.  It does not change management so carry on and hopefully you are at the end of your issue.

Pain: It is not unusual in the presence of kidney stones to have pain radiating to groin, testicles and genitalia.

Fluids and pain meds: You need to drink plenty of fluids and take medication for the pain.  If you don't have any reason not to take it, I would suggest taking Tylenol (acetaminophen) as directed on the bottle and if needed Aleve as directed on the bottle.  If you are still having pain tomorrow, then you need to go to your emergency room for an evaluation or sooner if you are not able to urinate.

: This is a sign that the stone may be in or near the opening of the ureter( tube bringing urine down from the kidney). This size stone has more than 70% chance of passing in most instances. Drink plenty of water. Strain your urine to catch the stone when passed Good luck

Not unusual: Unusual sensations (pain, tingling, numbness) in head of penis, often accompanied by a feeling of urinary urgency or burning, are quite common as a stone is passing through the lower part of the urinary tract from the opening of the ureter into the bladder and out through the urethra related to irritation and inflammation. These sensations usually resolve within 24-48 hrs after stone passage.

No: If the stone is moving between your bladder and penis through the urethra, medications will not be helpful in passing the stone more quickly. Plenty of fluids and pain medicine. Hang in there you are almost done.
