: If you had sex since your last period and missed a period by 4-5 days do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully. Wish you good health!
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. Consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.

Endometriosis? C MD: Dysmenorrhea (painful periods), dysfunctional uterine bleeding (abnormal bleeding during menses), dysphoric syndrome (severe mood changes); could be hormonal.  Could be endometriosis (abnormal deposition of uterine tissue outside the inner lining of uterus; hormonally sensitive, painful. Could be uterine polyp, fibroid, or mass.  If rectal bleed, then poss infl bowel, ca.  See your doc.

Antibiotics dont: Most antibiotics do not effect birth control pills although a few can. They do not affect Depoprovera. If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy. See a doctor to address the many other things that can cause these symptoms if/when your test is negative

Thyroid and mood: Hyperthyroidism often causes anxiety.  Hypothyroidism can lead to several psychiatric problems, most commonly depression.  There can also be cognitive (thinking) impairment, and in severe (and rare) cases, psychosis.  Correcting the thyroid imbalance usually corrects the changes in mood and thinking.

Dramatic life?: I suppose there are times in some lives when circumstances are so volatile that you can have dramatic mood changes for good reasons. But, if that is not the case, it is a mood disorder - sounds like cyclothylmic at least, and perhaps bipolar disorder. If you are not living in an extreme situation, talk with a therapist to understand what's happening.
