excessive sweating of the face and head. i have underactive thyroid and kidney disease. what could cause this sweating only on my face and head?

Hormone excess?: Face and head sweating is more common in women that are taking hormones. It can be from excess sympathetic tone or from volume changes being monitored by internal pressure receptors as might be your case with renal disease. Check hormone levels and consult with your nephrologist or endocrinologist.

Yes: In some associated way yes you can get these symptoms from low cortisol and kidney dysfunction.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you and may be doing some tests, including cystoscopy. There are non-bacterial causes of inflammation of the urinary bladder, including interstitial cystitis. Even tuberculosis can present "sterile" cystitis. It would be prudent to consult your urologist.

Any of them: Sweating from overactie thyroid. It could also be from hormonal changes with estrogen or testosterone, and with kidney disease you could have an imbalance of those.

Although not a...: ...complaint I hear commonly from my celiac patients, a search engine check of the internet did reveal several reports of sweaty palms and feet in association with celiac disease that improved with a gluten-free diet.

Difficult to say: digestive diseases tend to cause diminished absorption of Important vitamins-minerals. It is usually the deficiency of these things that will cause the signs and symptoms. Certain states like Ulcerative Colitis or Crohns are autoimmune. Severe gastritis and ulcers can also cause severe sweating. The burning in feet gels more with vitamin deficiency like B12/folate. B6 excess can cause issues too

Unlikely: Excessive sweating can be seen with an overactive thyroid, but associated with other signs/symptons. Weight gain is more common w/hypothyroidism, again associated with other signs/symptoms. Your doctor can reassure you with a simple blood test if you're concerned.
