Depends...: ...On why you threw up. But i doubt it would hurt to try to eat afterwards. Worst case is that you vomit again and then if it more than just the flu you need to see a physician and discuss the problem.

Nausea: There are so many things that can cause chronic nausea, that it is impossible to guess based on just the information in a text message. If your symptoms have been present for weeks, you should go to your primary care doctor for an evaluation, which will include a history and physical exam and may include laboratory or x-ray evaluation, with other possible tests depending on the results. Acid reflux: These are symptoms of acid reflux, see your doctor for proper treatment. You don't mention what you take for your asthma, if you are on oral steroids they will mess us your stomach.

had excess alcohol on saturday. ever since then i feel like throwing up everytime i eat and at the same time i keep feeling hungry. why?

Hangover/gastritis: Perhaps you're still suffering hangover effects from excess alcohol consumption. Also, alcoholic gastritis could account for nausea &amp; vomiting. You might consider calcium carbonate, H2 blocker such as ranitidine or PPI (proton pump inhibitor) such as omeprazole. If this persists, go see your Family Doc or Gastroenterologist for evaluation.

Hunger: You may be misinterpreting reflux, gastritis discomfort for hunger. Eating will appease it to an extent for some, with symtoms only returning. This can also be associated with nausea, pain and vomiting. Try an over the counter medicine like Nexium (esomeprazole) for a few weeks daily to see if this helps. No chance you are pregnant? If symtoms persist or you have bloody vomit, dark stools, see an MD!

Regular eating habit: is good thing to cultivate. Balanced food is also important. Make a food diary, for a week and take it to your doctor see what can be infered from that.

Pregnancy test: If you missed your period, do a pregnancy test. Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Virus: Gastroenteritis causes nausea, vomiting and diarrhea and is usually caused by a viral infection. Fever, chills and muscle aches often occur with the virus. . If your stomach is still queasy keep on a bland diet and try flat ginger ale to settle it. If there is diarrhea cut down on roughage and very hot or cold drinks. You should feel better soon.

Many reasons: Could be esophageal reflux, gastritis or even an ulcer. See you family physician who will examine you get more history and most likely will explain what you have and prescribe proper treatment.

Hydration: Continue to encourage clear fluids in small amount frequently as tolerated. Avoid dairy products and solids for now. If he is hungry dry crackers and chicken broth may be given. Allow 24 hours with fewer solids and keep him well hydrated. Please see your pediatrician if he is not improving, having a fever or otherwise appears lethargic and unwell. COVID 19 testing recommended.
