Poison ivy?: Sounds typical for poison ivy.  Topical otc hydrocorticone would be helpful, but be sure to wash any clothes, bedding etc that may have come into contact.  Difficult to know for sure without examining the rash and knowing more about your history.  Good luck!

Itchy Bumps: It is hard for me to say without looking.  In general, widesprad, aymmetrical, red and itchy bumps tend to be caused by a virus, rather than an allergy.  They often hang around for a while, and go away without treatment.  If yours have lasted weeks and started to spread, i would advise that you show them to a doctor, since only in that way can you get a definitive diagnosis.

Culture : If the rash is scaly , it could be fungal , i.e. Ringworm. As such a scrapping for KOH or culture for fungus would be confirmatory. However , your rash could be a result of some other cause.
