Yes: When you have chicken pox, you will have three types of rash:  you will have red bumps, little bubbles called vessicles filled with clear or slightly yellow fluid, and scabs.  The rash itches terribly, and can be soothed with oatmeal baths, topical lotions, tylenol (acetaminophen) and benadryl.  Swollen lumps in the neck and other places are called "lymph nodes, " and are a sign that the immune system is working.

Acquired allergies : Most reactions to medications including hives and dermal hypersensitivity reactions are acquired and occur after you have taken the medication for a while. Once you are allergic, if you stop and then take the medication again, the allergic reaction can happen more quickly.

Eczema: Usually an itch that turns to rash when scratched is eczema or atopic dermatitis.  This is associated with allergies.  Maybe start taking your allergy medications again.

Probably no STD: Syphilis can cause a body-wide rash, but not hive-like and usually not itchy. If you think you're at risk for STDs, get tested. But an STD is not a likely cause of this rash. Most rashes like this are due to drug allergy -- which could include an STD drug if you're on treatment. In that case, contact the doctor treating you. Good luck!

Probably unrelated: You may possibly have contracted scabies from the contact but there are also other potential causes unrelated to the sexual contact.   See a doctor if this has been presented for more than 3 days or been getting worse.

Rash: It sounds more likely that it is an allergic reaction to something.  The fact that it is not on the palms and soles of your feet makes other bad things less likely.  Skin rashes are hard to diagnose and the diagnosis depends on where the rash is, the color, whether there are blotches, raised bumps and many other things.  You can buy benadryl (diphenhydramine) in the pharmacy for itching and if it persists see DR.
