Eczema or intertrigo: Scented soaps can cause this issue in people with sensitive skin or a history of asthma or seasonal allergies. Use unscented soaps only such as dove unscented bar soap or aveeno (oatmeal) skin-relief bodywash to prevent this issue. Take quick, lukewarm showers instead of baths. Also use hypoallergenic laundry detergents. Consult a dermatologist for a prescription to treat the irritation.

Yeast?: A clumpy (cottage cheese- like), white, non- odorous discharge associated w itching, burning, swelling or redness can be due to yeast infections. Yeast can be treated with otc medications. If this doesn't fit the description get med eval.

: Yes, the Sulfur can cause the irritation and itching.
Apply a weak Cortisone ointment, not cream, sparingly 2-3 times daily.Rub in gently and completely

Since you have: seen your doc, simply change soaps and see if things resolve. If not, return to the doc.  Peace and good health. I know folks who cannot use Irish spring.

: Stop using it right away and use Benadryl lotion on the itchy skin and cortisone cream in the vagina. Hope you feel better

Vaginitis: Consider hydrocortisone cream, and consider trying monistat even though it doesnt itch

Itchy vagina: May be the soap , stop the soap and try an oatmeal ( Aveeno bath), if that does not help f/u with doctor urgent care may be yeast infection  rarely trichamonas.  or other infection Eat y=active culture yogurt changes the flora.

1% hydrocortisone: There are many causes for itch, especially in the vaginal area.  Your first try should be over the counter 1% Hydrocortisone cream rubbed in 2 x/day. If this doesn't work or the itch/rash gets worse, you may have a fungal infection.  Then try Clotrimazole cream (over the counter too).  Still no relief, see your dermatologist.

Itch: This is probably due to yeast infection. Try an over the counter medicine like clorotrimazole. See a doctor if the itch persists.

Yeast infection: Get a urine analysis to check for diabetes and use lotrimin (clotrimazole).  No alcohol.
