There are many other causes of bad breath, e.g. Poor oral hygiene, less fluid intake, sinusitis, strep/viral pharyngitis, tonsillitis, unhealthy gums, gingivitis, dental caries/cavities, crowded teeth, stomach infection (h. Pylori), etc.  Talk to your doctor.
