Anything that: Is a cathartic will decrease the absorption of any food or medication by inducing diarrhea and not allowing food or medication to be in the GI tract long enough to be absorbed.

hello doctor. i'm 45, female and i take levothyroxine, hydrochlorithiazide, lisinopril and metformin. is it safe for me to add omeprazole magnesium?

Yes, but: Omeprazole is not contraindicated for use with these meds, but always check with your doc before using.

Yes: These are all safe to take daily. Levothyroixine should be on empty stomach in morning. I advise prenatal, biotin and CoQ10 after breakfast, then fish oil after lunch or dinner. Magnesium (best as glycinate or taurate) best in evening at least 2 hours after dinner. Take a quality prenatal, ideally one with the L-5-MTHF form of folate (folic acid) (Pure Encapsulations and Designs For Health make great ones).

i take claritin, vitamin d2, multi, levothyroxine and protonix (pantoprazole). will magnesium interfere with what i take at all?

No it should not: Magnesium should not interfere with any of your medications.  Occasionally some multivitamins will contain some magnesium.

Yes: But one should always try to reduce medication intake whenever possible.

Food and thyroid...: You can eat any kind of food if taking Synthroid (thyroxine) as long as you take this tablet away from all food and all medications. I highly recommend for it to be taken in the middle of the night so you are sure nothing interferes with its absoprtion. Once absobed - typically in one hour - then any food will not affect this medication.

forgot my levothyroxine (100 mcg). i'm on a 6 day vacation in caribbean, should i be concerned?

No: Thyroid levels take weeks to change very much.

should the rx's levothyroxine and byetta be mixed. i take them together daily,&  i'm a little concerned that they are making each other ineffective?

Ok : Levothyroxine is best taken every morning on An empty stomach. Byetta should be taken twice daily one hour prior to your meal. They are ok to take at the same time.

Not really.: and you probably should NOT skip tomorrow's dose but take it at the regular time.
