That means being drug free, finishing your education, having the ability to support yourself, and living a healthy lifestyle with good nutrition and good prenatal care.  Be sure and see a clinician who can help you assess your status before making a choice to get pregnant again.  You can succeed but it takes work.

For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Not long: Given the scenario, it does not look good for your mom.  However this is the question you should pose to the cardiologist. Hiv can be controlled quite well today, but if there is such a huge cardiac output problem , the prognosis does not seem good.

Not where we look: If I want to verify type or length of drug exposure in a newborn I check their first poop. The poop begins to form about 12 weeks into pregnancy and it remains metabolically inactive after it forms. It can provide data looking back several months,retaining trace amounts of the drugs. Some specialty labs do hair testing which can also yield data. Blood tests record more recent exposure.

MA use during pregnancy is associated with shorter gestational ages and lower birth weight, especially if used continuously during pregnancy. Stopping MA use at any time during pregnancy improves birth outcomes

: Testing for drug exposure is not an automatic part of the evaluation at delivery. That said, if I have reason to suspect it, state law may require testing. If I look, I can find evidence of drug exposure in a newborn as far back as the 12th week of pregnancy.
