Lab interpretation: When you receive your test results, always ask for normal reference range in order to interpret your results. Different methods of measurement can result in different reference ranges. Check out https://www.nebido.com/tools/index.php/en/default/index/conversion-tool. While calculator is from brand of testosterone, it's easy to see how to convert units. T should be measure in AM. 8.1nmol/L is low.

No, I would...: At least, I would review your detailed history of general health, prior GU surgery, existing medical conditions &amp; drug use, lifestyle, pattern of sex life, etc., do physical exam, esp. on testicular size/ consistency, &amp; repeat gonadal blood profile including testosterone, LH, &amp; FSH, before starting TRT. So, ask your treating doctor ....

As it is often used in body building after taking Anabolic steroids to try to increase the decreased testosterone levels steroids cause, i'm concerned whether you are using anabolic steroids? Both they & testosterone supplements can have really nasty effects! better to eat well & train smart. Might check out a 40:30:30 zone diet.

You are either using some supplements, are obese, or something else has to be part of this story that you are failing to share.  First, let's get the whole story before we provide the wrong type of advice.

Recent studies have put an association between elevated testosterone in middle aged men with cardiovascular disease but there are protests to that article.
