No.: With negative serum pregnancy tests, the possability of pregnancy is very unlikely.  There can be other reasons for delayed cycles and these can be evaluated by a gynecologist.

Possible, &amp; unlikely: Conception occurs within day or so of the sex. It takes about 3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG for a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.

No: This one value is significant only if you want to know whether you are pregnant or not. It is normally very low at first and should double every 2-3 days in a normal pregnancy. If it doesn't double that is worrisome and needs to be looked into further. Hope this helps.

It would certainly be present in the weeks after. Some women occasionally skip a menses when they are not pregnant.

Home pregnancy tests are very accurate.: They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  if you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

Worry less.  : Hcg doubles about every 48 hours in early pregnancy since we don't know the prior number or the date of your ocnception it is somewhat difficult to say what an absolute number 182 means. 12 DPO should have been at about the time of your missed period so 182 seems about right.   Will need to see how this progresses.

BHCG: A urine test simply detects bhcg hormone. Most can detect a level if about 20. If your level is below that then it won't  be detected. Bhcg doubles roughly every 48 hrs. It doesn't take long to get above 20.

If you use an: Early  pregnancy test it may be able to detect pregnancy up to 6 days prior to the anticipated period.

Who knows?: You are trying mighty hard.  To be testing so early is a bit of a stressor that will not change outcome.  It sounds appropriate in that the cells have just implanted.  Miscarriage rates are hard to quantify at this stage, it's thought that a significant number of implantations don't make it and the woman never knows, she just has a period.  It likely won't be u and 6 sounds fine at day 22 of cycle.
