Too much Lifting.: Not knowing the reason you were given a heel lift aside, you need to stop using the lift. Call the doctor and explain your new symptoms. The lift height may have to be lowered in order to affect less change over a longer period of time. I would not continue with the lift again until the pain resolves.

i was water skiing and pulled a muscle in my groin and inner thigh are now my thig has turned black and blue along with my penis?

: When you pull a large muscle you often get some bleeding and subsequent bruising. It can be a few weeks that the bruise continues to travel/seep into the adjacent tissues, including the penis. Hot baths/showers daily will help the bruise resolve over the coming weeks.

Nerve Pain: Burning-like pain is neuropathic in nature. There is a compressed nerve present, don't know the cause. A muscle spasm can compress nerves. Need to see your doctor for a definitive diagnosis.

Thigh pain: Consider hip dysplasia, sciatica, muscle strain, tight quads, tight hams, tight hip flexors, spinal spondylolisthesis--get exam and xrays of hips and spine.

Yes: It can go away but depends on if it is an active MO (myositis ossificans) lesion. May need MRI and/or bone scan

Spasm?: Could be muscle spasm, which can occur in the absence of physical strain.  Often this is exacerbated by dehydration or electrolyte disturbances.

MRI and : Most other imaging studies can only visualize, when they can, anatomical or physical problems.  They usually cannot determine functional problems.  For example, if there is scar tissue around a nerve which is causing pain, imaging usually cannot tell where these are.

4-6 WEEKS: It may take a little longer though, depending on what you do on a daily basis that may keep the tissue from proper rest.
