Safe: Motrin is reasonably safe with liver issues; it is tylenol (acetaminophen) that you may need to be worried about.  The main organs affected by Motrin are the stomach (can cause bleed) and kidneys (can cause kidney issues in high/prolonged courses).

surgery last week and was taking oxycontin motrin augmentin & medrol. i got the most painful indigestion in my middle upper abdomen, loud belching (more after eating or drinking) & loud gurgling. pepcid helps a lot but what else should i do?

: You may be dealing with medication induced gastritis. These medications can be taken with food but not on an empty stomach. Continue pepcid. Avoid alcohol,caffeine. spicy and greasy foods. If you note bloating from gas, take simethicone 1/2 hour after meals &amp; at bedtime. Notify your MD if not improved.

More the kidneys.: Acetaminophen (Tylenol) tends to affect the liver when taken in doses exceeding 3000mg daily, but the medications you mentioned tend to negatively affect the kidneys in the long run so you should still temper their use.

i have a temp of 100.8  for a couple days. 600 mg of motrin took it down to normal. i don't feel bad today yesterday i was achy and tired.

Yes: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is a treatment short term for itching or allergy symptoms.  Motrin can have rebound effect if taken long term for headaches, so when you stop, your headaches will be worse.  Ask your md for better long term solutions to your problems.

Yes: If headache (HA) is 'worst you've ever had,' get immed. med attention.If it's a standard HA for you, chances are it's benign.NSAIDS like Motrin should not significantly interact with the alcohol, though large amounts make some people sleepy.I'd advise staying awake until the HA is gone.If it worsens, seek help.HA's have many causes, incl foods &amp; alcohol, or more serious causes like aneurysms.

i took 5 advils at 5 am 2 tylenols (acetaminophen) at 5pm it's 11 and i want to take 2 tylenols (acetaminophen) and 2 motrins pm for my toothache pain because is extreme is it bad ?

Yes: Cause its too much of the mild pain reliever
you need to see your dentist asap
and  call your doctor for stronger pain pills like norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen).
