Uncommon: AML is common in older people and ALL is most common in kids. Both are curable but ALL has better outcomes. But not all AML are same.  Many subgroups of AML do very well.  Your oncologist can answer this question. interesting fact--using the same exact chemotherapy regimens for the some cancers, adults treated by pediatric oncologists do better than when treated by adult oncologists.

Not very common: There would be 47, 150 new cases of leukemia in 2012. It is approximately 10/100.000. Now, easy bruising can be caused by many factors-such as medication- aspirin, plavic, blood thinner; other conditions that lower your platelet, other bleeding disorders etc. These other conditions are way more common than leukemia. You should see you doctor for further evaluation of your easy bruising. Good luck.

About 10-20%: Fatigue is nonspecific. Here we talked about extreme fatigue not very common. Most people with cll, especially at early stage, are asymptomatic. About 10-20% people will experience so-called b symptoms (fatigue, fever, night sweat, or weight loss). This number could go higher as disease progresses, but no linear relationship.

Relatively Uncommon: Cancer tends to be a disease of the elderly but there are definitely some cancers that are more common at younger age.

Not common : And I would say non existant, you need to stop worrying and chasing such diagnosis, if you are anxious about it, see a psychiatrist, for own well being, wish you well

Depends on type of l: There are 4 different types of leukemia, so we need to know what type of leukemia are you interested in knowing about? There is definitely a chance of dying from leukemia but there is also curative treatment available for many patients with leukemia. So you need to ask this question to your treating doctor.

Not really: We see different types such as acute lymphocytic leukemia in chidren and chronic myelogenous leukemia in those over 40 but we do see these diseases across the age spectrum. Certainly the very youg and the very old have a higher incidence rate.
