Accepted Answer

Yes: It is safe to gently pop your ears to equalize the pressure.  However, if it takes extreme effort to pop your ears, don't keep on trying.  If you continue to try, you might rupture your ear drum or rupture a membrane leading to your inner ear.  This can lead to dizziness and/or hearing loss.  If you can't clear your ears effectively, you will need to see an ent.

Accepted Answer

Pressure: Partial blockage of the eustacian tube which runs from the side of the back of the throat into the middle ear.  When this happens it creates a sensation of fullness.  You can try relieving this by thrusting your lower jay forward and your head back, or by holding your nostrils and blowing against a closed mouth (but be very careful with this), or use a nasal spray or decongestant or a sinus rinse.

Eustacian Tubes: Could be eustachian tube dysfunction which is very common. An unequal release of pressure between the inner ear and outside often due to a cold or allergies. If pain worsens or hearing decreases please see your doctor asap.

Cold?: This sound like you have a cold. This includes all the symptoms of the usual cold. No  treatment is needed at this time unless you feel you need symptomatic treatment. If persists see your doctor. Cold symptoms usually last about a week to 10 days.

See your physician: It may be  sinus, middle ear or both. You can try a decongestant  like  actifed  or sudafed. Since it ispersistente you will need to consider  seeing your physician.  The neck may be musculoskeletal secondary to the congestion.

TMJ disorder: Temporo-mandibular disorder is the second most frequent cause of orofacial pain after dental pain. Earache, neck clicking and popping, difficulty to swallow, headache and jaw pain are common symptoms. Proper diagnosis is the key to the successful treatment. See an orofacial pain practitioner for a consultation and management of the TMJ.

Blood pressure: You will likely need medications if salt restricting alone doesn't work see your medical doctor soon.

Sounds like: You may have some sinus inflammation and complicating eustachian tube dysfunction.  You may want to consider a trial of Neti Pot use (as in saline irrigation for the sinuses) and safe steam exposure to see if things will open up. Sinusitis : you most likely have sinusitis and allergies. Try OTC antihistamines first, if not better, you might need antibiotics for chronic sinusitis.
