: She should get a blood test for HCG level to settle the issue. She may need to repeat the test at more than 3 weeks after sex, unless she gets a period by then. It takes about 3 weeks from the time of sex to get a positive pregnancy test.

i took two plan b pills in january, and i ovulated late around the 3rd of february , and 4 days later im experiencing heavy bleeding and cramps , i cant tell if its my period , like can it come that early because of my hormonal changes?

Plan B bleeding : Yes. Plan B is a hormone medication so it can have effects on ovulation and bleeding. But it does not work  100%  of  the time  You should consider getting  HCG level  ( may be  negligible if  fetal demise ) and or ultrasound  ( though early on  may not show anything). if using more than 1 pad/ tampon every 2 -2.5 hours, severe pain  go to ER/ urgent  care.

Doubtful: This was probably an effect from the Plan B, which can disrupt your cycles.  This bleeding probably does not represent a true period but it is now uncertain when your next period will come.

Pelvic pain: You need to test for pregnancy and make sure there is no ectopic pregnancy. If the painful cramping persists then see the gyn specialist or emergency room.

: Pregnancy unlikely Conception occurs within day or so of the sex. It takes about 3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG for positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully

May be normal: Taking Plan B (or any other emergency contraceptive pill) can alter the timing of the current cycle and of the upcoming cycle. One should check a home urine pregnancy 3 weeks after taking Plan B, to make sure one is not pregnant. Pregnancy tests are sold in stores everywhere. Also, if having sex, one should be sure to use good contraception all the time, so that Plan B is not needed in the future.

Spotting: How long is your period ?. Fertility is usually 14 days before the next cycle so in a 27-31 day cycle it would be  on days 13-17  from the start of the period.  Likely just due to  the hormonal effect  of Plan B. . Consider HCG in about 1 week to 10 days  if no period  arrives.
