Earwax: While it isn't the best idea to put hydrogen peroxide down an ear tube, it isn't terribly dangerous.  Be alert for redness and ear pain, or fluid oozing.  Debrox is meant to help clear earwax.

Maybe,maybe not: They generally cause significant pain and a burning sensation if they enter the middle ear.I can think of no benefit to ever use them in this scenario.

Maybe: An ENT doc can also sometimes push a tiny probe through the tube opening to remove the clog. Adults that are willing to sit still for the procedure find this a simple process, many kids will cooperate for it also.

Talk to your surgeon and ask him to reassure you.

Tubes can be placed.
