To get true and effective weight loss in this scenario one needs to limit total calories and limit sugar and carbohydrate calories to 25% of the total.

Daily exercise would help you more than anything else besides reduced fat intake in your food.

No: Protein will not affect fatty liver nor get rid of belly fat.  You may have a genetic predisposition to store fat around your waist.  Fatty liver could be due to high lipid levels from genetic and dietary factors, excessive alcohol use, and other liver problems.  If not doing already, making lifestyle changes including eating healthy 5 times per day, and exercising 2 1/2 hours per week can help.

Atkins diet is difficult to maintain over the long run.

?????? WHY: Why do you have fatty infiltration of your liver?? Alcoholism is obviously NOT the only reason for this condition (in fact OBESITY is probably the #! cause!
Vitamins are very non-specific and I would say are probably NOT helpful
