Don't panic : First, make sure you're not pregnant. Not all vasectomies are permanent. If not pregnant, I'm not an OB/GYN, but I would think hormonal imbalance or early menopause would be more likely than CA (depending on your overall health or family history), but I would definitely check in with your PCP. No: Irregular periods are not a symptom one usually associates with ovarian cancer. If you missed a period then start with a  home pregnancy test. If negative an Obgyn can evaluate you and offer options for menstrual cycle regulation. If you have other symptoms that make you concerned for cancer please address them with your doctor.

Probably not: It is very common to have menstrual changes or irregularities for reproductive age women.  While it is possible to develop ovarian cancer at any age, it is exceedingly uncommon for reproductive age women to present with ovarian cancer.

Ovary CA & bleeding: Ovarian cancer does not usually cause abnormal uterine bleeding. If you have a mass and abnormal uterine bleeding, you need to get an endometrial biopsy.

See your doctor: It is unusual to have had Cancer if you only had one ovary removed. Regardless, it's important that you follow up with your oncologist and GYN surgeon ASAP

An obsession like: That can be an agony.  After a workup by your doc discuss your follow up schedule w/him/her and stick to it, neither more nor less.  Also see a mental health professional for support of this fixed idea or obsession.  Peace and good health.

Get PAP and HPV: You may do a home pregnancy test. If you do it correctly and it is negative at 7-10 days after the missed period, you would unlikely to be pregnant and may not need to see your doctor as an urgent manner. However, it would be a good idea to see the doctor, establish a baseline observation about your health, get a PAP smear and get HPV vaccination.

Below: It would be best to make an apt, get a gyn exam, and get an accurate DX.

You are correct to be concerned with your family history, and even though the period irregularity is probably due to anovulation, the reassurance you will receive will be great.
