have an irritated tip of penis (my boyfriend) i have some clobetasol propionate 0.05% i have left over from an irritation i had a couple months back. was wondering if its safe to let him use this on his private area.. until the doctors on friday?

: Best not to treat with this type of medication (corticosteroid) unless/until the cause is known. Yeast is a common cause of this sort of thing, and corticosteroids can make yeast symptoms worse. (Do you have yeast type symptoms like vaginal irritation or itching?)

doc diagnosed me with epydidimitis. however test revealed negative for chlamydia and gonorreah. symptoms incl testicular pain. irritated tip of penis and stinging while peeing. what could have caused epydidimitis? 3 weeks later same symptoms back???

: Two possibilities: 1- the antibiotic course is not long enough or the bacteria partly resist the antibiotic. 2- epydidimitis is not caused by bacteria in your case.

No &amp; Yes: Yeast infection can cause skin irritation and redness. It does not usually change semen--that would more likely be a second infection (often occur in multiples)--possibly STD/STI if any risk. Recommend getting tested by your Dr or at Urgent Care.

Penis irritation: This symptom can be anything from a Sexually Transmitted Disease to simple urethritis (inflammation of the tube in the penis) from various causes. Passing "kidney stone sand" can also do this, especially if you have flank pain with it. You should see your doctor to get tested.

Can try Bacitracin: Plus a little benedryl, available otc at your pharmacy. Could be due to irritation under foreskin if uncircumcised, or so called "ideopathic edema" if circumcised. Can also be caused by insect or spider bites. See his dr. If it persists, worsens or recurs.
