: Orthostatic hypotension is most likely the cause. Sudden change in BP can cause to autonomic nervous system to kick in. This controls heart rate, breathing, and metabolism. Hope this makes sense:

It : It is normal for the heart rate to speed up some when you stand up, particularly if you stand up quickly. If the increase in rate is dramatic, this might indicate that you are dehydrated or perhaps have another medical condition. When you stand up, the cardiovascular system must compensate against gravity to maintain adequate blood flow to the brain. This is partially achieved by increasing the heart rate. When you are dehydrated, there is less total blood volume in your blood vessels so your heart has to pump even more quickly and so you might be more aware of you rapid heart rate then. Try increasing your fluid intake, but if the symptom persists go ahead and see your doctor.

since i started ivrabadine 5mg twice a day i'm getting irregular heart rhythm and now i'm getting missed beats?

Could be afib: your medication can in a small percentage of cases cause an irregular beat, especially atrial fibrillation.
I recommend that you see the physician who prescribed the drug and tell him/her your symptoms- they may do a holter monitor to assess for atrial fibrillation and treat accordingly.

However, other irregular heart beats could be the warning signs of a more serious problem.  For example, untreated atrial fibrillation could lead to a stroke.
I would suggest you contact your doctor for an ekg and possibly a holter monitor.

i am in rhythm on flecainide for af. on bp machine why does irregular heart symbol show sometimes even though heart rate is low?

AF: You may be in and out of AF or you may have sinus rhythm with extrasystoles or your machine may be wrong for technical reasons.
