Doubt a tumor: Several considerations, as the head shaking can be a sign of heredofamilial tremor or essential tremor, but cerebellar tremors could also be a cause.  The unilateral headaches could be due to jaw, dental, or migraine mechanisms.  Suggest you have your doctor evaluate you, and provide advice and treatment.

i have random, involuntary shivers that shake my head and shoulders. not cold. sometimes d/t air movement (like a fan). friend concerned. should i be?

Probably OK: Many people experience various reactions to the environment that can't be explained precisely. This calls for avoiding or minimizing exposure to them if possible. They often just go away as mysteriously as they arrived, but if this persists and becomes a concern of yours you owe yourself at least one thorough neurologic exam by your doctor.

Calm flight: Lexotanil is similar to Xanax but may be worth a try. Ask your doctor about Buspar (buspirone) for anxiety, short-acting. An eye mask may also help to calm and sleep. Avoid caffeine the day before until you've landed as it will keep you awake and heighten anxiety. Listen to "sleep music" or whatever soothing sounds you prefer on  youtube. Distract yourself with pleasant reading and images. Hope this helps.

Sounds like: You may possess a familial essential tremor disorder, which could run in your family.  There are medications which might help.  See a neurologist.

Need evaluation: Not being able to see what's going on,  I have a hard time being sure.  I suggest you see a neurologist.  Ideas include hemifacial spasm, but there are other possibilities.

Titubation: Titubation refers to oscillation of the head or an unsteady gait.  When involving the head it usually occurs in the "no-no" direction.  It can be seen in a variety of conditions including benign essential tremor, cerebellar disorders, or the effects of medications and alcohol.
If you can discover any family members with similar features then benign essential tremor is the most likely cause.

Accepted Answer

Possibly age related: Tremors are more frequent as we age and often are addocited with effort. However, they can also indicate a degenerative process like parkinson's disease. Best to see a neurologist for a consult about possible causes and available treatment if indicated.
