Concerning: Would want opinion of pediatric surgeon.  Repeated intussusception certainly not normal.  Mekel's diverticulum commonly associated with children and this condition. No.: If intussusception has been corrected and ct scan is normal now, just reassure him. He might be afraid esp. If his abdominal pain happens only at night. Make sure to monitor his bowel movements and and make sure he is adequately hydrated.

Barium enems: Capsule endoscopy is contraindicated and not allowed if intessessuption is suspected. They will try to reduced it by using barium enema pressure with a good success or surgery which could be done lapsrosopically

Consider Crohns: This sounds more like Crohn's disease or some other inflammatory disease.  I would go see a Gastroenterologist or a general surgeon that performs endoscopy

Usually is cause by manipulation of the bowel during surgery, anesthesia, narcotics for pain, can last for several days to a couple of weeks. It is recommended for patients to ambulate the next day after surgery to stimulate bowel function and to minimized narcotics.

Developmental  error: In fetus in initial stages of development all bowel is out side like a garden house,  as abdominal wall develops it returns back in side in a systemic patron get rearranged by  a series of steps, ( called rotation ) partial failure , like bands ( lad's ) etc called partial  malrotation  will cause obstruction of bowel in new born or later stages of life.Yes treatable by surgery.
