In ng/dL: If it's in nanograms per deciliter, it's fine. Why do you ask? If he's having erectile dysfunction with normal testosterone, look to relationship issues, prolactinoma or hemochromatosis as possible explanations. If there's some other question, have a joint conference with his physician if you have not done so already.

Testosterone: I may be missing this question, and if so i apologize. But it is possible to measure the amount of testosterone in your blood stream and norms have been developed around this. It is a simple blood test.  You would hope that the level is not low when compared to the norms for a man of your age.

Talk to your Dr!: There is nothing you can do to raise low-t by a factor of 20+ you need to talk to your primary dr or urologist or endocrinologist, who can prescribe you replacement / supplement if you mutually decide that is best (which likely will be).

Other causes: Testosterone has a "permissive" effect on erectile function -- a little bit is all that is required. There are multiple physical and psychological causes for erectile dysfunction that have nothing to do with testosterone. What is your free testosterone level and was your test done in the morning. There is a chance you may need a slight increase in AndroGel (?).

i am only 29 and my testosterone level is 7 nmol range 7-27. my doc doesn't wana do any more tests. did 2 tests in morning. what can i do.ive symptoms?

Testosterone: At age 29 that is a low level and needs repeating.
Did your doctor examine your testes, and if so what did he find?
You should make an appointment to see an Endocrinologist and/or a Urologist.

i had done a free testosterone test my levels are 28 pg/ml report shows the normal range is 1 to 28 pg/ml while for women report shows normal range less than less than 2.85 i don't understand how can a level of 1 pg/ml be normal for a man?

: I dont know of the lab normals in India but here the levels in males is 50-200pg/ml and females 0-4.2. Testosterone levels vary at times of day- highest in a.m. and lower towards the p.m. hence the variation. Have your ordering doc explain the results of your lab.
