Simplistically...: Movement of gut contents due to muscular activity of the GI tract is defined as "peristalsis." If your's is excessive, acutely increased, or interfering with function then seek evaluation.

: The cause of internal tremors is often elusive but Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and essential tremor are the most mentioned possible causes. Since your internal tremor remains very localized &amp; you have no other neurological symptoms, I doubt a systemic neurological disorder &amp; suspect an irritable superficial nerve is the cause.  You could consult a neurologist for evaluation &amp; advice.

Mono sweats: Your symptoms are not likely tremors but are the rigors that go along with a temperature elevation from the infection. Take some tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin and it should help. Remember, no contact sports while you are in the active phase of the mono. Usually this lasts for 30 to 40 days. Good luck.

after every panic attack, my muscles feel like they are burning and i have internal tremors for days while trying to relax. it gets worse after each attack. could this be caused by anxiety? i was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder.

Anxiety shows itself: In may ways.  Once can mentally obsess over things that frighten the person or do behaviors to keep danger away, e.g., ritual behaviors, checking and re-checking.  There can be heart palpitations, shortness of breath, sweating, sleeplessness, GI symptoms, etc.  Please see doctor and then go to a mental health professional to learn ways to deal w/anxiety. Need evaluation: Obviously you need an evaluation. I would ask your physician to see if you should be evaluated by rheumatology. We see muscle pain in all kinds of settings, and this may be to be clarified. If you're not sleeping well at night sometimes we can consider fibromyalgia and the diagnosis.

: Currently, these are spells of unclear etiology. You will have to undergo some testing, including a sleep study to arrive at a more definitive answer. Panic attacks can present this way, however you should have medical evaluation and guidance to rule out certain underlying causes including thyroid problems, movement disorders in sleep, and seizures to name a few. Talk to your doc and good luck!

May be: Inner ear infection causes spinning, nausea and vomitting. It is a frightening experience and tremor can be part of intense fear!
