i've been trying to conceive for 2 yrs & scared my tubes could be blocked. i had severe internal hives in the past. could they cause blocked tubes?

See a doctor: If you've tried for 2 years, a good gynecologist or fertility doc can help. Tubal problems are fairly common, but you can only tell by testing. I am not completely sure what 'internal hives' are, but unless you refer to pelvic inflammatory disease/pid, it's not likely. Good luck!

Yes: Acute urticaria can be caused by contact and/or injected allergens. Common examples include exotic woods and pets for contact, and peanut or drug for ingested.

Possible: Hives can be caused by numerous diseases/allergens. There is no data that suggests hives in a particular location is caused by a particular entity.

Mosquitos allergy: Yes it is present, you need to take precautions, take an antihistamine and apply hydrocortisone cream right after being bitten, avoidance is the key, wear long sleeves, cover your legs, and use mosquito repellents, good luck

Hives: Hives can be triggerred by heat and friction. If this is a daily occurence, a daily antihistamine such as allegra, zyrtec or Claritin (loratadine) should help.

i'm breaking out in hives looks like scratches on my back inner thighs arms shoulders in head i've been taking benadryl (diphenhydramine) every 4 hours and isn't workin?

See doctor: How long have you had the hives?  If this has been present for weeks and you have no response to Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) you need to consult your doctor or an allergist. Be sure that you are not taking any drug which may be causing the problem in the meanwhile.

i've been on methimazole for 6 yrs & recently have developed itchy hives on my chest/inner arms/scalp/neck/ears and occasionally back & legs-related?

Maybe: Methimazole is notorious for causing a rash.  It is unusual to get a rash after 6 yr, but it is possible. Presumably you have graves disease? Perhaps it is time to reevaluate your hyperthyroidism and think about definitive treatment.  See your endocrinologist.

See a dermatologist: Begin with a diagnosis. If hives, is it physical (dermographism) or allergic or other. How long? If hives daily for more than 6 weeks, likely chronic urticaria, which is not an allergy. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is a poor choice because it is more of a sleeping pill which should never be used if you drive or work. Zyrtec  (generic ceterizine) is more effective and much safer. You can also try 1 or 2 claratin.

ive broken out in hives for the first time in my life. its happened 4 times in 3 days. ive had no other symptoms. what could be the possible cause?

See PCP soonest: Probably eating, drinking or coming in contact with something your body is allergic to. Best to see your PCP soonest for a proper Diagnosis and management.
